Paul Philmore

Licensed Insolvency Practitioner

Paul commenced his insolvency career in 1991 with a small independent practice based in West Yorkshire and qualified as a licensed insolvency practitioner in 1999. During his career, Paul has worked on numerous cases within the corporate and personal insolvency sectors and has accumulated a great deal of experience in all aspects of the business world.

Assignments have included professional sporting clubs, engineering and construction as well as retailers and failed finance companies. He continues to act for a wide variety of stakeholders including directors, shareholders, financial institutions and creditors throughout the Yorkshire region and is well known to other professionals in the accounting, legal and financial world. In his spare time Paul follows Huddersfield Town, plays golf in Eric Morecambe fashion (playing all the right shots but not necessarily in the right order) and enters into the spirit of amateur dramatics with the Hepworth Players.

Diane Kinder

Manager

Diane began her insolvency career in Huddersfield over 20 years ago. Her career has seen her work with several well respected firms and office holders in West Yorkshire during that time. Diane has accumulated huge experience in both corporate and personal insolvency and is regarded as someone who offers a practical and sympathetic approach to contentious situations. In her spare time she enjoys walking, reading, gardening.

Liam Cockfield

Assistant Manager and Business Development manager

Liam worked in the building trade before serving in the British Armed Forces. Liam joined Philmore & Co in September 2011 and has progressed to the position of Assistant Manager.

Liam is experienced in all corporate matters and adopts a very friendly approach to his work.  Liam deals sensitively with directors, former employees and creditors alike.

In his spare time Liam enjoys playing golf, going to the gym and catching up on the latest films.

Amanda Bray

Administrator

Amanda has worked in Chartered Accountants’ practices for over 30 years, starting as a full-time junior herself, going on to train 2 employees in administration/bookkeeping and then expanding her expertise to vary her work between other Chartered Accountants and Philmore & Co.

Amanda joined Philmore & Co in August 2019 as an Administrator.

In her spare time she loves doing DIY and will try her hand at anything from decorating to making garden furniture.  She also has a large German Shepherd who enjoys long walks.

Trudy Hammond

Administrator

Trudy began her career in the Motor Trade 22 years ago and progressed to be a Management Accountant. Looking for a different challenge, Trudy has now joined Philmore & Co as an administrator where she is looking forward to learning a new role.

 

In her spare time Trudy enjoys walking and spending time with her English Springer Spaniel, Bella. Trudy also loves spending time with her grown up children Abbie, Corey and Ryan and her husband Martin, and also the newest member of the family Hamley, a Turkish Angora cat.
